Tawa Bread Roll Recipe

Total time: 25 mins
Preparation time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
Course: Snacks
Servings: 4
Cuisine: Indian

Ingredients:
4 boiled potatoes
1-2 green chilies
1/2 tsp ginger
2-3 tsp green peas
2 tsp fresh coriander leaves
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp amchur (dry mango) powder
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
Salt to taste
8 bread slices
Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions for Preparing Tawa Bread Rolls

Begin by mashing the boiled potatoes in a large bowl. Incorporate the chopped green chilies, grated ginger, boiled peas, and fresh coriander leaves.

Add the red chili powder, garam masala, amchur powder, roasted cumin powder, and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly and shape the mixture into small rolls.

Trim the edges of the bread slices. Quickly dip each slice in water and remove it immediately. Squeeze the bread between your palms to eliminate excess water.

Place the potato roll in the center of the bread and fold the bread around it, ensuring it is completely covered.

Seal the edges securely, then heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with butter.

Cook the bread roll on medium heat, turning it occasionally until both sides are golden brown.

Once cooked, remove the bread roll from the pan and serve it with green coriander-mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
