For the samosa pastry:
All-purpose flour (Maida) – 1 cup
Carom seeds (Ajwain) – ½ tsp
Oil or Ghee – 2 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Water – for kneading
For the pizza stuffing:
Mozzarella cheese – ½ cup
Finely chopped capsicum – 3 tbsp
Boiled corn – 3 tbsp
Finely chopped onion – 2 tbsp
Pizza sauce – 2 to 3 tbsp
Oregano and chili flakes – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste

Step-by-Step Preparation

Method for making Pizza Samosa:

Begin by placing the all-purpose flour in a bowl. Add salt, carom seeds, and oil, mixing thoroughly until the mixture binds. Gradually incorporate water to form a stiff dough, cover it, and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine the chopped capsicum, onion, and corn. Add pizza sauce, oregano, chili flakes, and a pinch of salt, mixing well.

Next, fold in a generous amount of mozzarella cheese to create your pizza filling.

Divide the rested dough into small balls. Roll one ball into an elongated shape (similar to a *puri*), then cut it in half to form two pieces.

Take one piece, moisten the edges with water, and shape it into a cone. Fill it with the prepared pizza stuffing and seal the edges securely to prevent any leakage.

Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 5 minutes. Lightly brush the samosas with oil and place them in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are spaced apart.

Air fry at 180°C for about 12 to 15 minutes. Halfway through, flip the samosas to ensure they cook evenly and achieve a golden, crispy finish.

Once they are perfectly golden, remove them from the air fryer. Your hot, low-oil, and cheesy pizza samosas are now ready to be enjoyed!
