This dessert is not only scrumptious but also ideal for the colder months, thanks to its wholesome ingredients. Let’s dive into the recipe for these delectable Almond-Date Brownies.

Ingredients
350 grams of pitted dates
75 grams of almond flour
75 grams of coconut oil
50 grams of cocoa powder
4 eggs
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of baking soda
Chopped almonds for garnish

Instructions
Begin by preheating your oven to 175°C and prepare a square baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.

In a blender, combine the dates, coconut oil, and cocoa powder, blending until you achieve a thick, smooth paste.

While blending, add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully mixed in before adding the next. This will result in a slightly thinner batter.

In a separate bowl, mix together the almond flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Then, transfer the wet mixture of dates and eggs into a larger mixing bowl.

Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients using a spatula, mixing gently to combine without overworking the batter.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth out the top. If desired, sprinkle chopped almonds or almond flakes on top for added texture. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

To test for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center; if it comes out clean, your brownies are ready.

Once baked, allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan, as cutting them while warm may lead to crumbling. After cooling, slice them into squares and enjoy!
