After viewing the teaser, Bobby took to social media to express his admiration for Sunny, describing the preview as "incredible" and sharing his eagerness to see the Partition-themed drama on the big screen.


In his Instagram post, Bobby shared the teaser of this historical narrative centered around the 1947 Partition, overflowing with pride and anticipation. He wrote, "You’re the best, Bhaiya! In June, the production team released the highly anticipated teaser of Batwara 1947, which begins with a powerful and emotional voice-over by Aamir Khan.


Produced by Aamir Khan Productions and helmed by the seasoned director Rajkumar Santoshi, the teaser immerses viewers in the turmoil of the 1947 Partition, showcasing the violent riots and the profound emotional distress that affected the Indian subcontinent during this period.


While the footage starts with scenes of widespread chaos, it gradually focuses on the personal and human impacts of the border division.


Renowned actress Shabana Azmi plays a significant role as an elderly woman trapped in Pakistan, who is unwilling to abandon her family home. The story then centers on Sunny Deol, portraying a courageous and compassionate man amidst the surrounding violence and fear.


The teaser also highlights Preity Zinta and Karan Deol, who join Sunny Deol in gripping scenes where they face off against violent mobs led by the antagonist Abhimanyu Singh. The film features a star-studded cast, including Ali Fazal, Khushi Hajare, and Kanikka Kapur.
