The highly anticipated preview of Aryan Khan's directorial venture, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, was revealed on Wednesday.

During a spectacular event in Mumbai, superstar Shah Rukh Khan took the stage to launch the preview, showcasing his trademark charm and wit. He not only provided insights into the show's production but also engaged in a lively discussion with the creative team.

Reflecting on his initial conversation with Aryan, Shah Rukh shared, “When Aryan expressed his desire to create something raw and edgy about Bollywood, I was initially concerned he might share CCTV footage from Mannat on YouTube.” He continued, “However, he was actually presenting something fresh and distinctive. It took me a moment to grasp the show's tone, but once I did, I was completely captivated. I am genuinely thrilled, not just for the show but for the entire cast that brings the story to life.”

Expressing his heartfelt appreciation to the audience for their support over the last thirty years, the Jawan star welcomed Aryan to the stage.

Aryan, admitting to feeling ‘very nervous’ for his debut appearance, stated, “I have been rehearsing this speech for two days and three nights. I even ensured it was on the teleprompter with notes. And if I stumble, Papa is here as my backup.” He added, “The goal of this show is to entertain a wide audience. After four years of hard work, countless discussions, and numerous takes, the show is finally ready.”

He also expressed gratitude to the entire team behind The Ba***ds of Bollywood before inviting his mother, Gauri Khan, to join him on stage. “Thank you for producing the show and for producing me,” he humorously remarked.

For the occasion, Aryan donned a stylish all-black outfit, looking sharp in a matching suit that complemented his parents perfectly.

Before unveiling the preview, Shah Rukh Khan introduced the main cast, which includes Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Raghav Juyal, and Anya Singh, among others.

Bobby Deol, who portrays the character of superstar Ajay Talvar, also made a striking appearance at the launch. The Animal star praised Aryan, saying, “I have watched Aryan grow up, and I sensed something magical about him, as if he was destined for greatness. He had such conviction when he shared the story with me.” The creators shared on Instagram, “Bohot hard. Aur bohot heart bhi.”

The show is set to premiere on the OTT platform on September 18.
