Ariana Grande to Take a Break from Public Appearances

Ariana Grande is set to step back from the limelight. The 33-year-old artist will conclude her public engagements following the final performance of her Eternal Sunshine Tour in London on September 1, as confirmed by her representative to a popular media outlet.

Her representative stated, "She is eager to wrap up the tour on a positive note, both mentally and physically, and then enjoy a well-deserved hiatus from public engagements, which have led to relentless scrutiny from the public."

This announcement comes in light of renewed conversations online regarding Grande's appearance, particularly after the release of her latest single's music video, Petal, on July 31. While her representative did not explicitly link the break to this recent discourse, Grande has long been subjected to public criticism about her looks and has frequently addressed comments regarding her body.

As part of this break, Grande will also withdraw from her role in the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sunday in the Park with George at the Barbican Centre in London, where she was scheduled to perform alongside her Wicked co-star, Jonathan Bailey.
