A Personal Reflection from Amitabh Bachchan

In the early hours of Saturday, renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog to share a heartfelt reflection, drawing on cherished memories of his mother and the profound impact of simplicity.

Writing from his home in Mumbai, Jalsa, and marking DAY 6634, Bachchan contemplated how many of life's ongoing challenges often have straightforward solutions.

He pondered why individuals invest so much "time, energy, and strain" on problems that might only need slight adjustments for resolution.

Central to his post was a touching tribute to his late mother, Teji Bachchan. He reminisced about her "homemade ingenuity" in nurturing him during his childhood.

One vivid memory he shared involved her warming a rounded ball of her dupatta with her breath and gently placing it over his eyes, providing him with "immediate relief." He expressed, "Though she is no longer with us, recalling those moments brings back that care, confidence, and assurance."

Bachchan emphasized that his mother’s comforting words, "all shall be well Beta," continue to inspire him even decades later. He concluded his note by sending blessings to mothers everywhere and encouraging his "Extended Family" (Ef) of readers to remain connected.

This reflective post follows another entry from April 16, where the 83-year-old actor discussed the importance of staying active and maintaining momentum in life.

Drawing inspiration from his father's writings, he highlighted the significance of mobility and patience, stating, "Keep the body mobile, keep the mind mobile, and the strength of mobility shall be evident." On the professional front, he was recently seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, directed by Nag Ashwin, alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan.

Additionally, he has just wrapped up hosting the 17th season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
