Exciting New Project for Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha

For the first time, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha will share the screen in an untitled situational comedy directed by Shashie Vermaa.

This film, produced by Scenework Productions and Giriraj Productions, is set in Delhi and features the talented Kumud Mishra. Filming is slated to commence in the latter half of 2026, with a theatrical release planned for April 2027.

While both actors have appeared together in the popular Fukrey series, this will be their first opportunity to lead a narrative as a couple.

The film is described as a character-driven comedy that captures the vibrant and chaotic essence of Delhi.

Shashie Vermaa, recognized for his roles in Bala, Gunjan Saxena, and Kathal, as well as his directing and writing work on AK47 and Murga Trophy, will helm this project.

Anticipated to combine humor, heartfelt moments, and slice-of-life storytelling, the film will also incorporate social commentary.

Ali expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “I’ve always felt that the best comedies stem from relatable characters and realistic situations.
