The Zimbabwe women's cricket team has maintained the same roster that achieved the nation's inaugural ICC Women’s Championship title for their upcoming six-match tour in India. The T20I series is scheduled to kick off on October 16, as reported by the ICC.


Consistent Lineup for First Tour in India


Led by captain Josephine Nkomo, the 15-player squad will compete against India in their first bilateral international series, starting with the T20I matches on October 16. This tour follows Zimbabwe's remarkable four-wicket victory over the West Indies at Harare Sports Club on September 27.


The T20I matches will take place in Raipur, followed by an ODI series in Vadodara commencing on October 23. The ODIs will contribute to the ICC Women’s Championship standings.

Zimbabwe aims to leverage the momentum from their historic win as they face India. Nyasha Gwanzura, who achieved her career-best bowling figures of 4/33 in the recent match, remains in the squad alongside Michelle Mavunga and Francisca Chipare.
