A Unique Commemoration for America's 250th Anniversary

Washington: The U.S. State Department is preparing to launch a special edition passport featuring images of President Donald Trump alongside the Founding Fathers, celebrating the 250th anniversary of American independence this July.

These unique passports will only be obtainable in person at the Washington Passport Agency, making them exclusive to that location.

Images of the limited edition passports were shared by the Department of State on their social media platforms.

One page of the passport showcases Trump's portrait, framed by the text of the Declaration of Independence and the American flag, complete with the president's signature in gold.

Another page displays the iconic artwork depicting the Founding Fathers during the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Set to be released this summer, these passports are part of the Trump administration's America250 initiative, which also includes a Grand Prix event on the National Mall in August and a UFC fight on the South Lawn of the White House in June.

As the nation gears up to celebrate its 250th anniversary in July, State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott announced on X that a limited number of specially designed U.S. passports will be issued to mark this significant milestone.

A State Department representative informed Fox News Digital that these new designs will be available to any American citizen applying for a passport at the time of the rollout, continuing as long as supplies last.

These passports will incorporate custom artwork and enhanced imagery while retaining the robust security features that make the U.S. passport one of the most secure documents globally, Pigott stated.

In a related initiative, the Department of the Treasury proposed minting a one-dollar coin featuring Trump's likeness to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence.

Draft images verified by U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach indicate that one side of the coin will display Trump's profile, along with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 1776-2026.

The reverse side will depict Trump with a clenched fist in front of an American flag, accompanied by the phrase FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, referencing his rally chant following the 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
