What Key Discussions Took Place Between India's Vikram Misri and FBI's Kash Patel?
Significant Talks on Security Cooperation
Washington: During a meeting in Washington, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri engaged in discussions with FBI Director Kash Patel regarding collaboration on issues like terrorism, organized crime, and drug trafficking.
The Indian Embassy in the United States shared on social media that, "Foreign Secretary Shri Vikram Misri met Director FBI Mr. Kash Patel today. Both had a useful exchange of views on the robust India-U.S. cooperation in countering terrorism, organized crime, and narcotics."
Vikram Misri is currently on a three-day official visit to the United States, where he has also met with several high-ranking officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
This visit follows the recent agreement by the U.S. to a ceasefire with Iran, which has brought a temporary halt to the conflict that erupted on February 28 due to Tehran's refusal to relinquish its nuclear arsenal.
