U.S. Military Presence in Iran

In a recent statement regarding the ongoing conflict between Iran and the United States, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth clarified that there are currently no American troops stationed in Iran. He emphasized that all options remain available for the future. During a press conference, when asked about the possibility of U.S. ground operations in Iran, Hegseth indicated that such actions could be taken if necessary.

Protecting National Interests

Hegseth asserted that the U.S. is prepared to go to great lengths to safeguard its national interests, but any actions will be carefully considered. He noted that it is unwise to publicly disclose plans for war or military actions, as it is crucial for adversaries to remain unaware of U.S. intentions.

Casualties from Iranian Attacks

Following attacks by the U.S. and Israel, Iran and its allied armed groups have launched missiles targeting Israel, several Arab nations, and U.S. military bases in the Middle East, resulting in the deaths of four American soldiers. Former President Trump has hinted at the possibility of more casualties.

Operation Epic Fury

Under the direct orders of President Donald Trump, the Department of War initiated Operation Epic Fury, described as one of the most dangerous, challenging, and precise air operations in history. For 47 years, Tehran's expansionist and Islamist regime has waged a brutal, unilateral war against the U.S., often without openly declaring it.

Response to Iranian Aggression

The Defense Secretary highlighted that this aggression has manifested through attacks on American lives, including car bombings in Beirut, rocket assaults on U.S. ships, and killings at embassies, all funded and armed by Iranian Quds Force and IRGC operatives. He emphasized that the U.S. did not initiate this conflict, but under President Trump, it is being addressed decisively.

A Call to Action

Hegseth stated, 'After 47 years of Iranian hostility, it took a fighter as the 47th President, who always prioritizes America, to draw the line... If you threaten Americans anywhere on Earth, we will pursue you without hesitation and eliminate you.'

A Shift in Strategy

He further remarked that the government chanting 'Death to America and Israel' has received a fatal response from both nations. This is not merely a fight to change a so-called government, but a significant shift that has improved the world. Hegseth concluded by stating, 'There are no foolish rules, no quagmire of nation-building, and no attempts at creating democracy. We fight to win and do not waste time or lives.'
