On Tuesday, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) unveiled footage of its latest military operations against Iran. CENTCOM asserted that American forces targeted Iranian military command centers, maritime assets, missile and drone launch sites, as well as air defense systems, aiming to "weaken Iran's capacity to attack commercial vessels navigating through the Strait of Hormuz." The command noted that commercial shipping through this crucial maritime route remains active, with CENTCOM facilitating the passage of around 900 commercial vessels and 450 million barrels of crude oil since early May.

CENTCOM emphasized that American forces are prepared to hold Iran accountable for any unwarranted aggression against civilian mariners seeking safe passage through the strait. The released video includes thermal imaging of the Iranian targets impacted by the US strikes.
Escalation Continues: Tenth Night of Strikes
US Hits Iran For 10th Straight Night:
The US has initiated another series of military strikes against Iran, marking the tenth consecutive night of such operations. CENTCOM reported that these actions were ordered by President Donald Trump and are intended to further diminish Tehran's military capabilities.
In a recent update on X, CENTCOM stated, "At 4 pm ET today, US forces commenced a new wave of strikes against Iran at the direction of the Commander in Chief." The strikes aim to further undermine Iranian military capabilities that threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
Following the CENTCOM announcement, Iran's state broadcaster, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), reported an explosion in the Bemani district of Hormozgan Province, situated near the Gulf of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz. Unofficial sources indicated that multiple explosions were heard in Bandar Abbas and on Qeshm Island, both located in Hormozgan Province.
Despite the escalating tensions, Iran has indicated that mediation efforts are ongoing. Foreign ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei mentioned that "ideas from some mediators have been conveyed" to Tehran, although he did not disclose the identities of the involved countries or provide additional details.
