The incident took place in a village under the jurisdiction of the Dehat Kotwali area. A young woman was set to marry a man from the Kachhwan police station area on August 22, 2025, with the wedding scheduled for April 20, 2026. The atmosphere was filled with joy until just three days before the wedding, on April 17, when the groom mysteriously disappeared.

The groom's father informed the bride's family on April 19. Fearing disgrace, he suggested that his second son could marry the girl instead. However, fate had other plans as the second son fell ill and declined the marriage. The third son was then approached, but he outright refused to participate.

Fourth Son's Wedding Under Police Pressure

With the wedding preparations in full swing and the bride's family distressed, the matter escalated to the police. Out of fear of disgrace and legal repercussions, the groom's father finally convinced his youngest son to go through with the marriage. On April 20, the wedding procession arrived at the bride's home with much fanfare, and the marriage was conducted according to Hindu customs. The bride's family believed their troubles were over and that their daughter was finally settled.

However, the real drama unfolded the next morning. When the bride's family arrived for the bidai ceremony at the location where the wedding party had stayed, they were shocked to find that the groom, his father, and all the guests had vanished into thin air.
