TVS Motor Company has launched a groundbreaking initiative aimed at nurturing young racing talent in India. The TVS Apache Junior Programme, designed for children aged 10 to 14, will provide aspiring racers with specialized training and mentorship. Participants will learn essential racing skills using purpose-built motorcycles at the Madras International Karting Arena. This program not only aims to develop future champions but also strengthens the grassroots motorsport ecosystem in India. As the TVS Apache brand celebrates its 20-year legacy, this initiative marks a significant step in transforming racing expertise into talent development.
 

TVS Motor Company Supports Future Racing Stars

TVS Motor Company, a prominent player in the global two- and three-wheeler market, has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering the next generation of racing talent in India. The company has donated 10 TVS Apache RR 200 Mini Motorcycles to the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC). These specialized motorcycles will serve as the foundation for a comprehensive rider development program aimed at young racers aged 10 to 14 years, providing them with essential racing skills under the mentorship of seasoned instructors and TVS Racing champions.


Introducing the TVS Apache Junior Programme

The TVS Apache Junior Programme is a pioneering initiative designed for children between the ages of 10 and 14, focusing on helping them uncover and enhance their racing abilities. This program features a well-structured learning path that includes top-notch training and mentorship at the Madras International Karting Arena (MIKA). Participants will have access to the TVS Apache RR 200 Mini motorcycles, which can be rented as part of the program.


Building a Pathway for Future Champions

The program aims to introduce young riders to essential racing principles such as discipline, precision, control, and safety, making professional motorsport more accessible. It seeks to lay a solid groundwork for future racing champions while bolstering India's grassroots motorsport framework.


The structured pathway for aspiring racers begins with the TVS Apache Junior Programme for those aged 10-14, followed by the TVS OMC Rookie Category for participants aged 15 and older, which leads into competitive circuit racing. Riders can then advance to the TVS OMC RR 310 Expert Category for further racing development before entering the TVS Racing International Championship, which provides a platform for global competition.


Through meticulously designed training programs and dedicated racing schools, young riders will receive systematic coaching in a controlled setting, guided by expert instructors and equipped with specialized motorcycles and high-quality protective gear. This comprehensive approach aims to cultivate skill, discipline, and confidence while promoting a culture of safe and responsible riding.
