Trump's Strong Message to Iran

On Monday, President Donald Trump emphasized that Iran has disregarded warnings from the White House regarding the reconstruction of its nuclear program after recent military actions by the US. He stated, "After our significant strikes against Iran's nuclear facilities and Operation Midnight Hammer, we cautioned Iran against any attempts to rebuild elsewhere, as they could no longer utilize the sites we effectively destroyed. However, they chose to ignore our warnings and continue their quest for nuclear arms," he remarked. This statement followed US airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear locations in June, which the administration claimed had completely dismantled Tehran's nuclear capabilities.

Trump further noted, "The Iranian regime already possessed missiles that could target Europe and our military bases, both domestically and abroad, and they were on the verge of developing missiles that could reach the United States." This was the first occasion he spoke directly to reporters since the military operations commenced early Saturday. Addressing the duration of the operations in Iran, he stated, "Whatever the timeline, it's acceptable." He added, "We are already significantly ahead of our initial estimates. However long it takes, we are prepared to continue. Initially, we projected a timeframe of four to five weeks, but we have the capacity to extend beyond that. We will proceed as necessary." Trump also dismissed any notions that he might lose enthusiasm for the campaign, asserting, "Some believed I would become disinterested in the operation. I don’t get bored. There’s nothing dull about this."
