This announcement comes as tensions escalate in the region, particularly in Lebanon. Trump reassured that the Strait of Hormuz would remain open and secure, while also indicating that the US military is preparing for its 'next conquest.' He stated, 'All U.S. Ships, Aircraft, and Military Personnel, along with additional ammunition and weaponry necessary for the effective engagement of an already weakened enemy, will stay in position until the REAL AGREEMENT is fully adhered to.'
