Trump Issues Stark Warning to Iran Over Strait of Hormuz
Trump's Firm Stance on Iran
On Sunday, Donald Trump delivered a strong message to Iran regarding its recent actions in the Strait of Hormuz. The President expressed his hope that Iran would agree to a "fair" and "reasonable deal" being proposed. However, he warned that if they refuse, the United States would take decisive action against Iran's infrastructure, targeting every "power plant" and "bridge" in the nation. Trump emphasized that he would no longer adopt a conciliatory approach towards Tehran, insisting it was time to dismantle Iran's military aggression.
Trump criticized Iran for its recent military actions in the Strait, stating, "Iran decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz - a total violation of our ceasefire agreement! Many of them were aimed at a French ship and a freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasn’t nice, was it?" He also mentioned that his representatives would be traveling to Islamabad, Pakistan, for negotiations. Trump noted that Iran's closure of the Strait was counterproductive, costing them approximately $500 million daily, while the U.S. faced no losses.
He continued, "In fact, many ships are headed right now to the US, Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska to load up, compliments of the IRGC, always wanting to be 'the tough guy!' We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single power plant and every single bridge in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!" Trump urged Iran to accept the deal, stating, "They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy, and if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran by other Presidents for the last 47 years. IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END!"
