The individual, who had been in critical condition, passed away while receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU).

In a statement shared on X, the Indian Embassy expressed deep sorrow over the loss, stating, "With a heavy heart, we share that another Indian national, critically injured in the October 10 attack on Riyadh airport, has passed away in the ICU."

The embassy has been in touch with the victim's family and pledged to provide all necessary support during this difficult time.

They also assured the family of assistance in repatriating the deceased's remains to India or organizing a funeral in Riyadh, based on their preferences.

This latest death follows the earlier passing of another Indian national, Mohammed Yousuf Ali, who was also a victim of the October 10 attack. His funeral took place in Riyadh on October 12.

Initially, Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation reported 12 deaths and 309 injuries from the attack. The death toll later increased to 13 after the first Indian national succumbed to his injuries, and now stands at 14 following the latest casualty.
