Iran's Stance and Regional Attacks
In a recent statement, Iran's president dismissed the United States' call for an unconditional surrender, expressing regret over Iran's military actions against neighboring nations. This comes as Israel and the US continue their airstrikes aimed at the Islamic Republic.
Gulf nations have reported intercepting additional ballistic missiles and drones launched from Iran.
Saudi Arabia announced it thwarted four drones targeting the Shaybah oil field, marking the second such incident in a short span. Additionally, operations at Dubai International Airport were disrupted as passengers were directed into train tunnels following multiple explosions.
Israeli airstrikes have intensified, targeting locations in Beirut and Tehran, with the death toll rising to at least 1,230 in Iran, over 200 in Lebanon, and around a dozen in Israel, according to official reports. Six US service members have also been reported killed.
In response to the escalating conflict, the Trump administration approved a $151 million arms deal for Israel, with the president stating he would not engage in negotiations with Iran unless they agree to an unconditional surrender.

Israel has initiated operations in Lebanon to gather intelligence regarding a missing pilot.
The Israeli military confirmed that its special forces conducted a mission deep within Lebanon to seek information about navigator Ron Arad, who has been unaccounted for since his capture in 1986 after his fighter jet went down.
According to Lebanese state media, Israeli troops landed in Nabi Chit late Friday, where they encountered members of Hezbollah, resulting in a gunfight that extended into the early hours of Saturday.
Arad is believed to have been held in Nabi Chit until 1988, when he disappeared.
In Iran, a senior cleric has called for the swift appointment of a new supreme leader, likely in light of the current political turmoil. Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi urged the Assembly of Experts to act promptly, emphasizing that timely action would enhance national authority and governance.
Airstrikes have also impacted buildings linked to the clerical panel, potentially delaying their meetings.
Air Travel and Ongoing Conflicts
Qatar Airways announced it will operate six flights to Doha on Sunday via a 'safe corridor,' as the country's airspace remains closed. These flights will originate from five European cities and Bangkok.
Israel has reported targeting Hezbollah positions in southern and eastern Lebanon, with the Israeli military stating that recent airstrikes hit rocket launchers, weapons storage sites, and command centers of Hezbollah's Radwan Force.
Hezbollah has confirmed clashes with Israeli forces in the Bekaa Valley, although Israel has not commented on these encounters.
Bahrain's military reported intercepting two missiles and a drone on Saturday, bringing the total interceptions to 86 missiles and 148 drones since the onset of the conflict initiated by the US and Israel against Iran last weekend.
