Tusk arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday evening for a three-day official visit aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in defense, trade, and strategic areas.

Upon his arrival, Tusk received a warm welcome from Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) highlighted on social media that this high-profile visit is anticipated to invigorate the India-Poland Strategic Partnership and strengthen the enduring relationship between the two countries.

This marks Tusk's second visit to India as Prime Minister, the first being during his previous term in 2010.

The last meeting between the two leaders took place in 2024 during Modi's significant visit to Warsaw, which elevated their bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership.

After his engagements in Delhi, Tusk will head to Bengaluru to interact with various business stakeholders, particularly in the Information Technology (IT) and space sectors. An India-Poland Business Forum is planned for October 22 in New Delhi and October 23 in Bengaluru.
