Incident During Live Stream

On April 14, controversial streamer Sneako was attacked while live streaming in New York City, an event that quickly gained traction on social media. A video clip surfaced showing him being unexpectedly punched during the broadcast.

Following the altercation, Sneako took to X to inform his followers that he was not seriously injured. He stated, “I’m fine, we got it handled. Going live again in an hour for Professor Jiang X Dave Smith.”

He resumed streaming shortly after and elaborated on the incident, implying that the attack might not have been random. “I got hit, you can see it in the video. I got hit a few times, I get up and immediately [he] pulls out mace and runs away. This doesn’t make sense that it was a random person,” he explained during the stream.

Despite his suspicions, Sneako also referred to the attack as “random” while recounting the events. The precise details leading up to the confrontation remain ambiguous.

This incident is not Sneako's first encounter with conflict while streaming in New York City. Earlier in April, he had a tense interaction with a local resident who objected to being filmed without permission. Near Union Square, the individual insisted that the footage be deleted, stating, “I don’t want myself on your camera. Delete that shit.” Sneako clarified, “I’m a YouTuber, I’m just making a video,” explaining that he was live streaming rather than recording. The situation eventually calmed down after his explanation, although the individual issued a warning.

The recent attack adds to a series of confrontations involving Sneako during his public broadcasts.
