The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has confirmed that a tornado warning is active for southeastern Johnson County until 7:30 PM CDT. As of 7:00 PM, a severe thunderstorm capable of generating a tornado was identified over Lake Pat Cleburne, approximately 7 miles south of Cleburne, moving southeast at a speed of 25 mph.

Forecasters have indicated the possibility of a tornado, alongside the threat of exceptionally large hail, potentially reaching the size of softballs, which poses a significant risk to life and property.
