Recent rumors about Donald Trump's death or hospitalization have spread widely on social media, fueled by viral posts and an old video. However, officials and Trump's own social media activity have debunked these claims. The White House has confirmed that Trump is actively working and has made recent public appearances. This article explores the origins of the rumors, the responses from Trump's team, and his ongoing engagements, providing clarity amidst the confusion.

False Claims Circulate on Social Media

Recently, unfounded rumors regarding Donald Trump's death or hospitalization have gained traction on social media platforms, fueled by viral posts and an outdated video clip. Despite these claims, there is no evidence to support such assertions, as confirmed by officials and Trump's recent activities. One user on X stated, “Multiple sources close to President Donald Trump have reported his death.” Others speculated that Trump had been admitted to a medical facility, claiming, “Reports suggest Trump has been taken to Walter Reed Hospital, with roads around the area closed, and the White House announcing he will not be making public appearances today.” Another user echoed this sentiment, stating, “Donald Trump is at Walter Reed Medical Center.”

The speculation escalated after a video of a presidential motorcade circulated online. However, investigations reveal that the footage is from 2024, following an assassination attempt on Trump, and is unrelated to current events.

In another post, Trump stated, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, all in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Strait, or you'll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.” This post was shared on Truth Social on Sunday at 5:33 PM (IST).

Trump's last public appearance was on Wednesday, where he participated in discussions regarding birthright citizenship at the U.S. Supreme Court and delivered a primetime address concerning Iran. His public agenda for Saturday indicated only “executive time,” and the White House later announced a “lid” at 11:08 a.m., suggesting no further public engagements were anticipated that day. Questions about Trump's health have frequently arisen, but the 79-year-old has dismissed these concerns, asserting he feels “sharper now than 25 years ago.”
