India has condemned Pakistan's recent air strikes on Afghan territory, which resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children. The Ministry of External Affairs described the strikes as a blatant act of aggression that threatens regional peace and Afghanistan's sovereignty. In retaliation, Pakistan reported a ground operation that killed 29 individuals linked to terrorist groups. Both nations have summoned each other's diplomats to address the escalating tensions. This situation highlights the ongoing complexities in the region and the need for diplomatic dialogue.

India's Strong Response to Pakistan's Actions

On Monday, India expressed its strong disapproval of Pakistan's air strikes on Afghan soil, which led to civilian casualties, including women and children. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) labeled these actions as a "blatant act of aggression," asserting that they undermine Afghanistan's sovereignty and threaten regional peace and stability.

The MEA's statement emphasized that Pakistan's actions reflect a continuous pattern of reckless behavior, attempting to shift its internal issues onto neighboring countries through cross-border violence. It stated, "India conveys its condolences to the Afghan families affected by this tragedy and reaffirms its steadfast support for Afghanistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity."

In response, Pakistan reported that its security forces conducted a ground operation near the Afghan border, resulting in the deaths of 29 individuals. Information Minister Atta Tarar stated that this operation was based on intelligence and targeted terrorist hideouts linked to Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and Fitna-al-Khwarij, which is the term used by Pakistan for the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its affiliates.

Following these events, both Islamabad and Kabul summoned each other's diplomatic representatives to express their grievances regarding the escalating tensions. Pakistan accused Afghan nationals of being involved in an attack on a Pakistan Rangers headquarters in Karachi.
