Pakistan to Host Talks Between the US and Iran Following Ministerial Meeting

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has revealed plans for Islamabad to host discussions between the United States and Iran. This announcement follows a meeting with foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey, where the ongoing conflicts in West Asia were addressed. Dar emphasized the need for unity within the Muslim community during these challenging times, highlighting that the war serves no one's interests. The visiting ministers expressed their full support for this diplomatic initiative, which aims to alleviate the severe crises affecting the global economy.
 

Pakistan's Diplomatic Initiative

On Sunday, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that Islamabad will facilitate discussions between the United States and Iran, following a meeting with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey.
Dar made this statement during consultations regarding the ongoing conflicts in West Asia, which have led to significant crises in the global economy.


He emphasized, “We all agreed that this war serves no one's interests and only leads to death and destruction; unity within the Muslim community is crucial during these challenging times.”
Ishaq Dar also informed distinguished guests about the potential for US-Iran talks in Islamabad.
He noted, “The visiting foreign ministers expressed their full support for this initiative.”
