She emphasized the department's serious approach to security, stating, "To be blunt, we are not messing around with security at this year's parade." Tisch noted that New York boasts one of the most robust municipal counterterrorism frameworks globally, which will be fully utilized for the parade.

While officials have confirmed that there are no specific credible threats against the event, they acknowledge the current climate of rising antisemitism in New York and across the United States necessitates a heightened security response. "It's the largest celebration of its kind outside of Israel, and for many, it represents one of the most joyous days of the year," Tisch remarked. Prohibited Items and Security Measures

What You Can and Cannot Bring
