Massive Fire Engulfs Recycling Center in Southeast London
Firefighters Respond to Major Blaze
Over 100 firefighters are currently battling a significant fire at a recycling facility located in southeast London, according to the London Fire Brigade (LFB). The emergency services received the call shortly after 5:30 PM local time on Monday, prompting the deployment of fifteen fire engines to Landmann Way in Bermondsey. Residents in the vicinity have been advised to keep their windows and doors shut due to the considerable smoke emanating from the fire. Authorities also recommended that people steer clear of the area while firefighters work to control the situation. Social media has been flooded with images and videos depicting thick smoke billowing over parts of southeast London.

Firefighters from various stations, including Deptford, Old Kent Road, and Greenwich, are among those responding to the emergency.
