Celebrating Nature with a Bird Feeder Campaign

In Jaipur, a significant initiative aimed at supporting local bird populations was launched, coinciding with the birthday of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The campaign, known as the 'Massive Bird Feeder Initiative,' is organized by the Universal Human Rights Council. Dr. Tarun Bankoliya presided over the event, where he emphasized the joy that the chirping of sparrows and other birds brings to people's lives each morning. He noted how these birds, flitting around homes, captivate both children and adults alike.

Indra Raj Meena, the state president, highlighted the dire consequences of water scarcity during the summer months, which often leads to the death of many birds and animals. He urged the community to take small steps to quench the thirst of these creatures, potentially saving their lives. Dr. Bankoliya appealed to the public to foster a love for birds and to actively participate in this noble cause by installing more feeders around their homes. The Universal Human Rights Council is conducting this bird feeder campaign across all states in the country. Notable attendees at the event included former councilor Geeta Devi, social worker Narmada Bairwa, and Devanarayan Kholiya.
