Massive AI Data Center to Be Established in Jaipur, Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Announces Training for Youth

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced the establishment of a significant AI data center in Jaipur, which is expected to be one of the largest in India. Alongside this initiative, 5,000 young individuals will receive specialized training in AI through the Small Industries Association. This project aims to transform Rajasthan into a technology hub, creating numerous job opportunities in cloud computing, machine learning, and big data analytics. The minister emphasized the importance of AI in today's world during his address at the DigiFest Tie Global Summit, highlighting the potential for growth and development in the region.
 

Introduction of AI Data Center in Jaipur

Union Minister for Information Technology, Electronics, and Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, has made a significant announcement regarding the establishment of a large-scale Artificial Intelligence (AI) data center in Jaipur. This facility is set to become one of the largest data centers in the country, with the ground-breaking ceremony scheduled to take place soon. Additionally, through the Small Industries Association, training will be provided to 5,000 young individuals in AI, equipping them with skills for emerging job opportunities.


Minister's Address at DigiFest Summit

During his visit to Jaipur, Minister Vaishnaw addressed the closing ceremony of the three-day DigiFest Tie Global Summit via video conferencing. He emphasized, "AI is the most crucial need of our time. It is not only transforming industries but also opening new avenues for employment, education, and development. The upcoming AI data center in Jaipur will be a significant step towards making Rajasthan a technology hub."


Focus on Summit and Youth Training

The DigiFest Tie Global Summit saw participation from tech experts, startups, and entrepreneurs from both national and international backgrounds. In-depth discussions were held on topics such as AI, blockchain, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. The minister highlighted the initiative to train youth in AI skills, stating that 5,000 young people would receive free or subsidized training in collaboration with the Small Industries Association, enabling them to compete in the global job market.


Opportunities for Rajasthan

The establishment of the AI data center in Jaipur is expected to create thousands of direct and indirect job opportunities in the state. This center will be utilized for cloud computing, machine learning, and big data analytics. The Rajasthan government is also providing land and other facilities for this project.
