Netanyahu's Health Announcement

Tel Aviv: In the midst of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu disclosed on Friday, April 24, that he has been treated for early-stage prostate cancer and is currently in 'excellent physical condition.' During a routine medical check-up following a successful surgery for an enlarged benign prostate, doctors discovered a malignant tumor at an early stage. Netanyahu shared his medical findings on social media, stating that the tumor has been completely removed and no traces remain.

He mentioned, 'Today, my annual medical report was released. I chose to postpone its publication by two months to avoid releasing it during the height of the war, preventing the Iranian terror regime from spreading further false propaganda against Israel.' He expressed gratitude for his health, stating, 'I am in excellent physical condition, and the minor medical issue with my prostate has been fully addressed. Thank God, it’s behind me.'

Netanyahu elaborated that a year and a half prior, he had undergone surgery for an enlarged benign prostate and has since been under regular medical supervision. During the latest check-up, a small spot measuring less than a centimeter was found in his prostate. Upon further examination, it was identified as a very early-stage malignant tumor, with no signs of spread or metastasis. Doctors informed him that this condition is quite common among men of his age, presenting two options: either to monitor it without treatment or to proceed with treatment to eliminate the issue.

This health update comes just days before Netanyahu's planned visit to the United States. Additionally, Israel's ceasefire agreement with Lebanon has been extended for another three weeks.
