Dubai: Israel has announced the elimination of the intelligence chief of Iran's Revolutionary Guard as of Monday.


This statement was made by Israel's Defence Minister, Israel Katz.


Reports from Iranian state media have confirmed the death of the intelligence leader.


"The Revolutionary Guard is targeting civilians, and we are systematically removing the leaders of these terrorists," Katz stated. "Iran's leadership is aware that they are being pursued. We will continue to track them down individually."


Katz further mentioned that Israel has inflicted significant damage on Iran's steel and petrochemical sectors.


"Our efforts will persist in dismantling Iran's national infrastructure, leading to the weakening and eventual downfall of the terrorist regime and its ability to threaten Israel," he added.
