Defiance from Iran's Leadership

Dubai: The supreme leader of Iran has released a bold written message, expressing admiration for the resilience of the Iranian people three weeks into the conflict initiated by the United States and Israel.

In his statement, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei asserted on Friday that the assaults from the US and Israel stemmed from a misguided belief that eliminating key leaders would lead to the collapse of the Iranian government.

This message, which coincided with the Persian New Year celebration of Nowruz, was broadcast on Iranian television.

Khamenei praised the Iranian populace for establishing a robust defensive network across cities, neighborhoods, and mosques, delivering a significant blow that left the adversaries in a state of confusion and making irrational claims.

Since taking over after his father's death in the initial strikes of the war, Khamenei has not made any public appearances. Reports from US and Israeli officials suggest that he may have sustained injuries during those attacks.
