IRGC Issues Stark Warning to Britain

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has issued a grave warning, stating that any British military installation utilized by the United States for operations against Iran would be considered a "legitimate target." This statement marks a significant escalation in the already tense relations between Tehran and London. The IRGC's remarks came on Thursday, accusing the UK of playing a crucial role in the recent military actions by the US and Israel against Iran, and advised Britain to refrain from further involvement in the conflict.

Speculation has been growing regarding the potential use of British military facilities for American operations in the Middle East, with RAF Fairford specifically mentioned in the IRGC's statement. The IRGC alleged that the US had recently launched B-1 bomber missions from RAF Fairford after depleting its cruise missile supplies from warships in the Indian Ocean. The IRGC emphasized, "Any base used for aggression against Iranian territory is a legitimate target for us." Furthermore, they accused Britain of being a major contributor to instability in the region and of facilitating recent US and Israeli strikes on Iran.

In addition to targeting British bases, the IRGC reiterated claims of having attacked a US electronic warfare unit at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, asserting that they had caused damage to the facility's air traffic control tower.
