The Indian Embassy in Moscow announced on Friday that a third high-level, multi-party delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi has arrived in the city, emphasizing India's strong resolve to combat all forms of terrorism. The delegation was welcomed by Vinay Kumar, India's ambassador to Russia.
In a statement released by the Indian Embassy, it was noted, "The multi-party delegation led by Parliament member Kanimozhi Karunanidhi has arrived in Moscow to express India's firm commitment to fighting all forms of terrorism."
Purpose of the Delegation's Visit
The delegation, consisting of MPs from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), arrived in Moscow on Thursday night as part of a five-nation tour aimed at raising awareness about Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism within the international community. This visit follows a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the deaths of 26 individuals.
Upon arrival at Domodedovo International Airport, Kanimozhi and her team were greeted by Indian Ambassador Vinay Kumar and other officials. The delegation is scheduled to meet members of the Russian Parliament, the Duma, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as engage with leading experts from local think tanks. Additionally, the Indian delegation plans to visit Greece, Latvia, and Spain.
