Tragic Incident in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa


Peshawar: In a recent attack in Pakistan's volatile Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, unidentified gunmen targeted a police checkpoint, resulting in the death of one officer and injuries to two others.


The incident occurred on Sunday, as reported by local officials.


The assailants opened fire on the Qazi Talab checkpost, situated within the jurisdiction of the City Police Station in Hangu district.


According to police reports, constable Ali Raza died from his injuries sustained during the assault. The two injured officers have been transported to DHQ Hospital for urgent medical care.


Law enforcement quickly responded to the scene, leading to an exchange of gunfire between the police and the attackers.
