Containment of the Crow Fire

On Monday afternoon, firefighters managed to stop the spread of a vegetation fire in Alameda County, California. The incident, known as the Crow Fire, ignited around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Crow Canyon Road and Norris Canyon Road, situated between Castro Valley and San Ramon. As reported by Cal Fire, the fire scorched approximately three to four acres before containment was achieved at around 1:20 p.m.

Firefighting teams received assistance from aerial resources, including aircraft equipped for water drops, to help control the situation.

Fortunately, Cal Fire confirmed that no homes or structures were in danger, and there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
