This year's World Cup, held every four years, will be a collaborative effort among three nations: the USA, Mexico, and Canada. Over the course of 39 days, fans can look forward to 104 matches featuring 48 teams, culminating in the final on July 19. Sixteen stadiums are prepared to host this grand event.

This year, 48 teams from six major confederations, including the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), will compete for the coveted trophy.


Tournament Structure

The tournament features 48 teams divided into 12 groups of four. Each team will compete against the others in their group once. Following the group stage, the top two teams from each group, along with the eight best third-placed teams, will progress to the knockout stage, totaling 32 teams.


These teams will then compete in the pre-quarterfinals, with 16 winners advancing to the quarterfinals, followed by the semi-finals and the final.
