The Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM), recognized as a World Athletics Gold Label Race, is set to occur on January 18, 2026. The event has proudly appointed Olympic Champion Andre De Grasse as its International Event Ambassador for this milestone 21st edition.

De Grasse, one of the most celebrated sprinters of his era, adds his star power and inspiration to Asia's premier marathon, enhancing the event's international reputation, as stated in a TMM announcement.

A Stellar Athletic Career

Known for his thrilling finishes and calm demeanor under pressure, Andre De Grasse is a prominent figure in athletics whose story continues to motivate countless fans globally.

His journey began in modest circumstances, where he was first spotted sprinting in basketball shoes at a local competition, marking the start of an extraordinary athletic career.

Currently, De Grasse boasts an impressive collection of seven Olympic medals. His rise to fame began at the Rio 2016 Olympics, where he earned silver in the 200m and bronze in both the 100m and 4x100m relay. He solidified his legacy during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, clinching Gold in the men's 200m and achieving podium finishes in the 100m and 4x100m relay.
