In a notable advancement for waste management, the collaboration between the Special Area Development Authority (SADA) Bharmour and the BDO Office Bharmour has yielded significant results.
According to ADM Bharmour Vikas Sharma, a total of 4 tons of waste has been sent to Baddi for processing. This follows an earlier dispatch of another 4 tons, culminating in a total of 8 tons of waste removed from Bharmour.
Sharma noted that while previous efforts focused on “zero-waste” processing, this initiative represents a more structured approach. The ongoing efforts aim to systematically clear the accumulated waste for complete disposal.
He urged residents to refrain from littering on streets and pathways, advising them to hand over waste exclusively to sanitation personnel or designated waste collection vehicles. Sharma highlighted that even minimal cooperation from the community can significantly enhance the effectiveness of these large-scale administrative initiatives.
