Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar's latest venture, "Dhurandhar: The Revenge," has experienced a remarkable resurgence at the box office, particularly noted on its fourth Sunday. The film continues to perform impressively both in India and abroad. Although there has been a slight dip in its momentum, industry experts are optimistic that it may soon eclipse the lifetime earnings of "Pushpa 2: The Rule."

As of its 25th day in theaters, "Dhurandhar 2" has garnered an impressive ₹1,712.98 crore globally, closing in on "Pushpa 2," which wrapped up its run with ₹1,742.10 crore. The difference between the two films has shrunk to under ₹30 crore, as reported by Sacnilk. This change is primarily due to "Dhurandhar 2's" strong international performance, raking in ₹415.50 crore, which significantly surpasses the ₹259.50 crore earned by "Pushpa 2" overseas.

However, the domestic market tells a different story. On its fourth Sunday, "Dhurandhar 2" added ₹14.75 crore from 10,727 screenings, with its Hindi version accounting for about 94 percent of its total Indian earnings, which stands at ₹1,017.79 crore net. In contrast, the film's Telugu earnings are relatively low at ₹41.85 crore, while "Pushpa 2" thrived in both Hindi and Telugu markets, earning ₹812.14 crore and ₹341.48 crore, respectively.

These contrasting figures highlight the regional dynamics influencing box office performance. "Pushpa 2" successfully expanded its reach from a Telugu-centric audience to a wider Hindi market, while "Dhurandhar 2" has faced challenges in gaining traction in Telugu-speaking areas. Nevertheless, the film's robust Hindi audience and impressive international earnings have nearly bridged the gap with "Pushpa 2's" overall box office total.
