A Joyous Union in the Big Apple

Australian comedian Andy Lee and model Rebecca Harding have taken a significant step in their 12-year romance by officially tying the knot. The couple exchanged their vows on October 13 in the vibrant setting of New York City, surrounded by close family, friends, and industry peers.

The ceremony unfolded in Lower Manhattan, where Harding was seen leaving The Bowery Hotel ahead of the nuptials. For her special day, the bride chose a stunning strapless satin gown, accessorized with diamond earrings and a fresh makeup look, her hair elegantly styled in a half-up, half-down fashion. She was accompanied by celebrity stylist Elliott Garnaut as she made her way to the venue.

A Personal Celebration in NYC

Choosing New York City as their wedding backdrop holds special meaning for the couple, as Lee co-owns the Australian-themed venue Old Mates in the city. This establishment serves as a popular gathering spot for Australian celebrities, including notable figures like Hugh Jackman, Pat Cummins, and Mick Fanning.

The guest list featured several well-known personalities from the Australian entertainment scene. Among the attendees were Lee’s long-time collaborator Hamish Blake and his wife, Zoë Foster Blake, along with radio host Lauren Phillips and her fiancé, Paul O'Brien. Lee’s groomsmen included his brother, Cam Lee, his close friend Michael “Horgs” Hogan, and Hamish Blake. The atmosphere during the wedding was laid-back, with guests like cricketer Dan Christian sharing highlights from the event on social media.

A Love Story Years in the Making

This marriage comes after a relationship that began in 2014, sparked by a chance encounter at a café in Melbourne. The couple recounts how Lee left his contact details on a napkin, leading to a date the very next day. Although they faced a brief six-month separation during their journey, they ultimately found their way back to each other. Earlier in 2024, Lee proposed to Harding, culminating in their recent wedding celebration in the United States.
