This intimate event, attended by 70 close friends and family, followed a week of celebrations that kicked off on July 14 at the stunning 74-acre private island located in the British Virgin Islands. The couple, both aged 28, engaged in various activities leading up to their wedding, including kitesurfing, snorkeling, and mingling with the island's wildlife, such as lemurs and flamingos, as reported by a media outlet.
On their special day, Booysen wore a breathtaking custom gown designed by Nicole + Felicia Couture, while Donaldson chose a classic tuxedo from Ralph Lauren. A family friend, who is also an ordained minister, officiated the ceremony. After exchanging vows, the couple made a memorable entrance at their reception, where they shared their first dance to the touching song "Die With a Smile," performed by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous menu that included sushi, Wagyu beef, and fresh seafood, with the wedding cake reflecting Booysen's favorite flavor—carrot cake.

Their love story began in 2022 when Donaldson met Booysen, a South African gamer and author, during a trip to her homeland.
