What’s the Buzz Around Salman Khan's Controversial Film 'Kala Hiran'? Teaser Released Amid Legal Drama!
Teaser Launch Amid Legal Turmoil
Mumbai: In the midst of a contentious legal dispute, the creators of Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy have released the film's teaser.
The teaser features several references that seem to connect directly to Salman Khan, including the use of terms like Dabangg and Sikander, which are titles from two of his popular films.
Additionally, the protagonist is depicted wearing a turquoise bracelet that closely resembles one famously worn by Salman Khan.
This teaser comes shortly after the Delhi High Court postponed the hearing regarding Salman Khan's request to prevent the film's release.
Legal Challenges Surrounding the Film
The film's producers have confirmed that Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy is set to release in theaters soon.
For those unfamiliar, Salman Khan has approached the Delhi High Court, claiming that the film unlawfully exploits his personality rights and misrepresents events related to him without his permission.
His legal filing suggests that the movie draws inspiration from his infamous 1998 blackbuck poaching case and his supposed feud with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
During previous court sessions, the Delhi High Court had issued a notice to filmmaker Amit Jani and others regarding Salman Khan's request for temporary relief against the film's release.
Ongoing Legal Proceedings
The case was adjourned due to time constraints, and no temporary injunction was placed on the film's release.
This legal conflict escalated to the Delhi High Court after Salman Khan's legal representatives sent a notice to the film's creators, demanding a halt to the film's release and the removal of all promotional materials, including posters.
Directed by Bharat S. Shrinet and produced by Amit Jani, Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy is said to be a courtroom drama intertwined with a crime thriller, set against an international backdrop.
