Release Date Changes
Chand Mera Dil release date
Originally slated for an April 10 release, Chand Mera Dil has been rescheduled to May 22 to avoid clashing with the release of Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh’s film, Dacoit. This strategic move allows Chand Mera Dil to enter the Hindi film market without direct competition, although it will still face challenges from Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3, which premieres on the same day. In this film, Ananya plays the role of Chandni, while Lakshya portrays Aarav. The project was first announced in November 2024, with Vivek Soni directing. He previously worked with R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh on the Netflix film Aap Jaisa Koi.
Ananya Panday's Recent Work
Ananya Panday's projects
Recently, Ananya appeared in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, alongside Kartik Aaryan, which was released in December 2025. Despite facing tough competition from Dhurandhar, the romantic comedy struggled at the box office and received mixed reviews, with audiences finding it difficult to connect with the lead pair's chemistry. However, she had a successful start to 2025 with Kesari: Chapter 2, which was well-received both critically and commercially.
Lakshya's Rise to Fame
Lakshya's claim to fame
Lakshya gained prominence through Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, which premiered on Netflix in September 2025, where he played the lead role of Aasmaan Singh. Although he was initially set to debut in Dostana 2 under Dharma Productions, that project was ultimately canceled. Instead, he made a notable impact in Kill, alongside Raghav Juyal, establishing himself in the industry.
