Prithviraj Sukumaran Completes Filming for 'Khalifa'


New Delhi: The talented actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has officially finished shooting for his latest project, Khalifa, which is scheduled to hit theaters on August 20.


He announced this milestone on his Instagram account, sharing a moment with the film's cast and crew. His post read, "It’s a WRAP on #KHALIFA! Aamir Ali will follow Rajeevan... The smuggler will meet you after the nobody! 'KHALIFA' Part 1. In theatres worldwide from 20th August 2026."



The film is directed by Vysakh and showcases Sukumaran as Aamir Ali, a powerful smuggling lord who inherits a vast criminal empire, leading him down a treacherous road of revenge and ambition.


The cast also includes Tovino Thomas, Krithi Shetty, Indrans, and Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is making his debut in the Malayalam film scene.


In addition to Khalifa, Sukumaran is set to appear in I, Nobody, which is slated for release on July 9.
