Exciting Announcement of 'Operation Sindoor'

Mumbai: Filmmakers Bhushan Kumar and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri have officially revealed their upcoming project titled Operation Sindoor. This film is inspired by India's military operations targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, particularly following the tragic Pahalgam attack.

The narrative will be based on the book Operation Sindoor: The Untold Story of India’s Deep Strikes Inside Pakistan, authored by retired Lt Gen K.J.S. 'Tiny' Dhillon.

Agnihotri will take the helm as director, while Kumar's T-Series and Agnihotri's I Am Budha Productions will handle production.

The creators emphasized that the film reflects a pivotal moment in India's history, showcasing strategic resolve and courage in response to the Pahalgam incident, where 26 innocent lives, primarily tourists, were lost in 2025.

Kumar expressed, "Some stories choose you rather than the other way around. Operation Sindoor is one such narrative that must be told with integrity and responsibility. This film is more than just entertainment; it serves as a vital documentation of significant events."

Agnihotri echoed this sentiment, stating, "This film is a revelation. With Operation Sindoor, India not only avenged the Pahalgam attack but also showcased its prowess in modern warfare. We have conducted thorough research in collaboration with various branches of the Indian Armed Forces to uncover the complexities behind these events."

Known for his impactful films like The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files, Agnihotri aims to present this story with authenticity, ensuring it resonates with audiences while delivering a gripping cinematic experience. He aims to confront uncomfortable truths with clarity and the art of filmmaking.

More information about the film will be shared soon.
