Revelations from the Legal Battle

The legal dispute involving Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively may have reached a resolution, but new scandalous messages continue to surface online. Recently, text exchanges purportedly between Ryan Reynolds and author Colleen Hoover have emerged, shedding light on their discussions about Baldoni amidst the ongoing legal turmoil.

According to reports, these messages were uncovered in recent court filings and date back to August 10, 2024. In the texts, Reynolds, known for his role in 'Green Lantern,' allegedly commented on Baldoni's conduct during the legal proceedings, saying, “When he employs a crisis team like that, you can see the strategies they’ve armed him with. Crisis team: okay, Justin, just focus on discussing domestic violence and praising Blake. We’ll manage the online narrative. Regardless, maintain your feminist advocacy and speak like a thought leader.”

Reynolds also reportedly made a light-hearted jab at Baldoni, stating, “Justin: Namaste. Let’s get this b****,” and added, “The truth about him is already coming to light.” Hoover is said to have responded to Reynolds’ messages with laughter.

In another part of their conversation, Reynolds referred to Baldoni as a sociopath and predator, expressing disbelief that a production could distance itself from someone he deemed dangerous while shifting blame onto a woman. He remarked, “It’s astonishing how everyone involved in a project can abandon a person who is clearly a predator, yet the narrative always seems to focus on why a woman is at fault.”

Additionally, a separate exchange between Reynolds and talent agent Warren Zavala discussed an alleged smear campaign against Lively. Zavala suggested that there were plans to tarnish her image, to which Reynolds responded, “They need to frame it correctly! This isn’t complicated. The statement should start with… it feels like they’re trying to navigate this carefully. They just need to go straight at it.”

Notably, a month prior, Lively was awarded $400,000 from Baldoni out of the $8 million she sought in damages. Earlier this year, as the trial progressed, the two reached an out-of-court settlement just before Lively's appearance at the Met Gala 2026.
