His latest project, Mujhe Tu Chahiye, is currently streaming on Kutingg. In a recent promotional interview, Iqbal shared insights about his new series and reflected on a show that played a crucial role in his career trajectory.

The Show That Launched His Career

When asked about the project that he considers a turning point, Iqbal stated, "My debut television series, Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, produced by Ektaa Kapoor, was fundamental in shaping my career. It laid the groundwork for my journey, marking the first significant steps that directed my path due to its success."

He also discussed how television has transformed over the years, noting that his current show, Hui Gumm Yaadein, is distinct from others in the industry. "The content back when I started was truly exceptional," he remarked.

Insights on Mujhe Tu Chahiye

As the dialogue progressed, Iqbal opened up about the challenges he faced while working on Mujhe Tu Chahiye. He admitted that embodying the character's sense of 'helplessness' was particularly demanding due to the intricate emotions involved. He elaborated that his role extends beyond that of a mere businessman.

"This aspect isn't the sole focus of the character. He lives in a world filled with everything yet lacks warmth. When something is missing, one often searches for it in various places, leading to a situation where returning feels nearly impossible," Iqbal explained. Throughout his career, he has also been part of notable shows such as Kkavyanjali, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do, and Waaris.
