New Delhi: The film Hanuman Ansh, inspired by the teachings and life of Neem Karoli Baba, has successfully crossed the Rs 150 crore mark at the box office.
Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the narrative centers around a young man named Lakshminarayan, who, after losing his mother, embarks on a profound spiritual quest to find God.
His journey takes him across Northern India as he seeks answers to existential questions about life, death, and suffering, ultimately leading him to embody the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba, whose messages of love, service, and compassion have impacted many.
The film stars Shobhinaw Satya in the lead role, supported by Vihaan Shedge, Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey, and Bhagvandas, among others.
As reported by the trade analysis platform Sacnilk, the film has grossed Rs 156.63 crore at the domestic box office.
Released in theaters on August 7, the film initially had a slow box office performance, with minimal earnings in its first two weeks, but it gained significant traction thanks to positive word of mouth.
